  • Rohini Kalvakuntla, Co-founder, Director

    Rohini has been working in the Public Health space for a few years with a special focus on understanding innovative healthcare models and disruptive technologies that can promote access to high quality healthcare at affordable costs to the beneficiary. On the one hand she works with innovators to understand their models better and help explore markets and avenues for scale up; on the other hand she works closely with state governments to encourage private sector engagement to support public health goals. Rohini currently leads the work on innovations and Public Private Partnerships in healthcare. Rohini has a masters in Management from King’s College London and a masters in Social Policy and Development Studies from the London School of Economics. Rohini brings in value in terms of constantly tweaking and pushing the RITI model of healthcare to achieve its vision. The team comes together through a shared vision and values, inspiring one another to build an institution that serves people to its highest ability.


  • Prabal Vikram Singh, Co-founder, Director

    Prabal is a Public Health specialist with many years of experience working on the field, understanding and evaluating initiatives in health insurance, mobile medical units, public private partnerships in health- particularly in diagnostics provision and many other service delivery innovations in healthcare. Prabal currently serves as the Fieldwork Director at the Oxford Policy Management where his work expands to a broader social sector including health, education and social protection. Prabal was the Director of Research at ACCESS Health International where he headed the work on Indian drug procurement and distribution mechanisms and health insurance. Prabal has done his PhD from IIM Ahmedabad in Public Systems. Prabal is also a guest lecturer for Health Systems at IIM Indore. Hailing from Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, Prabal feels that fieldwork keeps him close to the communities and gives him a unique opportunity to understand them better. He proclaims, it also keeps him grounded and makes him a realist in his approach. A data- junkie, Prabal adds significant value to improve community engagement and strongly emphasizes use of data to drive decisions.


  • Vasantha Kumar - Co- founder, CEO

    Vasantha Kumar has spent all his working years in the eye-care space and continues to be inspired by how service delivery innovations can uplift under –accessed communities to improve health-care. A quiet boy from Sivakasi village in Tamil Nadu had joined Aravind Eye Care Hospital in Madurai as a young graduate intern. A one-year internship stint turned out to be six years of learning, inspiration and dedication to providing high-quality care. He worked in Uttar Pradesh for 2 years and was instrumental in setting up two green field eye hospitals at Aravind. He has also worked with couple of eye hospitals in Africa helping them improve their care provision. After a six long years of experience in eye care, he joined ACCESS Health International as a Consultant. At ACCESS he was a process improvement specialist. He supported eye hospitals to improve access and quality through a collaborative learning approach. He is also working on a handbook on eye care that is a step by step guide for the successful provision of high quality affordable eye care in low, middle and high income countries. He is a Postgraduate in business administration and a trained “Improvement Advisor” by Institute for Health Care Improvement, USA. Vasantha is the operations backbone with skills in setting up processes and structures to ensure the smooth functioning of the organisation.
